DiolazeXL is an advanced laser hair removal system developed by InMode. It uses a high-power diode laser to target the pigment in hair follicles, selectively destroying them to prevent future hair regrowth while protecting the surrounding skin.

The laser energy passes through the skin and is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicle. This heat energy damages the hair bulb at its root, preventing the follicle from producing new hair. Because hairs grow in cycles, multiple treatments are needed to catch every follicle during its active growth (anagen) phase.

DiolazeXL laser hair removal is designed with built-in 3D cooling contact technology. The sapphire tip keeps the skin cool throughout the pulse, making the treatment virtually painless. Most patients describe the sensation as a light snap or mild warming feeling.

Because laser treatment only affects hair follicles during their active growth phase, a course of 6 to 8 sessions spaced roughly 4 to 8 weeks apart is recommended for optimal, long-lasting results.

There is minimal to no downtime. You may experience slight redness or mild swelling around the hair follicles immediately after treatment (similar to slight sunburn), which typically subsides within a few hours to 24 hours.

Shave: Shave the treatment area 12 to 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Avoid Waxing/Plucking: Do not wax, pluck, or thread for at least 4 weeks prior, as the root must be intact for the laser to work.
Avoid Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sun exposure, sunbeds, and fake tan for at least 2 to 4 weeks before treatment.
