We are beyond excited to announce that Naturally Flawless Aesthetics in Derbyshire have just launched the new Optimas Max by Inmode. This machine is the latest technology in this area and allows us to offer both Morpheus8 Burst and Lumecca Peak as treatments in our Derby aesthetics clinic.
You may have heard about this type of treatment before, but the Optimas Max is the new upgraded device which is far more effective than the previous model. We are the first aesthetics clinic in Derby and Derbyshire to have this machine and be able to offer these industry-leading technologies to our patients.

What is Morpheus 8 Burst?
Morpheus8 is an advanced treatment which combines microneedling and radio frequency. This combined method allows for radiofrequency energy to be delivered simultaneously to multiple skin depths in a single ‘burst’. It supports in treating sagging skin on the face, neck and jawline, contours with sub-dermal fat remodelling (e.g. double chin, jowls), fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, enlarged pores and crepey skin on the face and body.
What areas can be treated with Morpheus 8?
Morpheus 8 is a great treatment for fine lines, wrinkles, scarring, sagging skin and crepey skin around the eyes, mouth, chin and neck area. These are areas where we first notice the signs of aging appear and as with all of our treatments, we always work with the aim of making you feel like a refreshed version of yourself, not a ‘done’ version. Morpheus 8 provides just that, which is why we are so happy to now be able to offer it to our patients.
Can Morpheus 8 be used on the body too?
Morpheus 8 is a great treatment for use on the body. With both age and weight loss we can start to notice laxity in both the texture and tone on areas of our body. Morpheus 8 can help restore the the firmness of the skin and assist in it looking less crepey.
We have had an increase in patients who who have been using weight loss injections and whilst their weight loss journey has been a successful one for them, they now require help with improving the firmness of the appearance of their skin. Morpheus 8 can provide the perfect solution.
What does the Morpheus 8 treatment feel like?
Most patients will feel a warm, prickly sensation during the treatment. A numbing cream will be used to help alleviate any discomfort.
Often there will be some redness after the treatment which will subside after a couple of days. The area that has been treated may feel tender for a short time and as the healing process continues you may experience some dryness and flaking. This is all a normal part of the healing process and will pass within a couple of days for most patients.

What is Lumecca Peak?
Lumecca Peak is an advanced Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy. It is the most powerful IPL treatment on the market, delivering more energy than standard IPL for faster, more effective results.
If you haven’t come across IPL therapy before, this is a treatment which uses broad-spectrum, intense light pulses to target problem areas on the skin. Unlike laser treatments which are a single wavelength, IPLs use many wavelengths, which means they are excellent for targeting numerous concerns in one treatment.
What skin concerns does Lumecca Peak treat?
We are very excited about the introduction of Lumecca Peak to our Derbyshire clinic as we know it will help so many patients with their skin goals due to the range of skin concerts we are able to treat with this device.
The system utilises advanced technology to target sun damage, pigmentation, age spots, rosacea, vascular lesions such as spider veins and broken capillaries and general redness, with minimal downtime.
Lumecca Peak improves overall skin texture and tone, promoting a clearer and more even complexion.
Can Lumecca Peak be used on other areas of the body too?
The Lumecca system provides outstanding results on the face, but is equally as efficient on the hands. This hard working area of our bodies is somewhere that shows the signs of aging clearly and is often overlooked. Lumecca Peak used on the hands can help improve the tone and texture of the skin as well as reducing the appearance of age spots. This Intense Pulsed Light therapy treatment will provide a refreshed look to your hands and is available in our Derbyshire clinic.
What does the Lumecca Peak treatment feel like?
Most patients would describe this treatment as mild discomfort, with many saying the felt no discomfort at all. The sensations you are likely to experience with this treatment are likened to an elastic band flicking against your skin. Any discomfort is minimised as much as possible with a numbing gel which is applied before the treatment takes place.
After the treatment you may experience some redness which will feel similar to mild sunburn. In most cases, this will disappear within in couple of hours. If the treatment has been utilised to treat pigmentation or age spots it is usual for these to go darker after the treatment before healing and dissapearing.
